my 360 wont read anything. it just says open tray. i found out a piece of the white plastic thing thats screwed on the laser broke off of the motor thing that moves the laser back and forth. but i got another white thing and replaced the broke one and now the laser moves back but not forth and i’m runnin out of ideas help me!!
i have an xbox 360 elite that gives my 4 red lights when i turn it on standing up but if i lay it down 2 off the lights go off but still wont give video. It gives sound the entire time but wont do anything else… what do i do?

my elite has a philps and Benq , cdrom drive; the problem is it wont read games ..Its not the games , for I used to play them …Now it just stoped ….

Ok I have opened it, I have cleaned both chips after opening it, but after turning it on I got 2 RRs. I know I didn’t put back my Disc tray but when I do, I still get the red light.

hey ive been having this problem where some games work fine but on other perfectly clean discs it tells me the disc is dirty and unreadable. it loads up at first but then all of the sudden u can start to hear the fans and everythng die down and then that error message pops up. please help me!

My360 is 2 1/2 yrs old,it failed to read last yr. i used a cd clnr kit,worked ok til now. i taken it aprt as u tube says,no prob. claned/greased up dvd motor. and cleaned E eye,but it now reads CD’S only.where do i go fro hre?
