The three flashing red lights is the classic indicator that you have a serious problem regarding the hardware on your Xbox 360.
Step 1: Check the light on your power supply
The power supply light is in the middle of your power cord’s black box on the back of the unit.
Option 1: If power supply light is green, you have a serious error:

Solution 1:
Unplug your game console and try plugging the Xbox into a different outlet in a different outlet or a different room in your house. If it remains the same you need a new supply, if not, you have a bad outlet in that room.
Solution 2:
If the power supply light is still red, orange, or not lit, then you will need to get a replacement power supply.

My xbox will not come on I played it hours before it stop working then i was about to leave and i unhook then i did not go any where and i hook it back and it did not come back. What is worng with it
I know how to disassemble my 360. Dont have a computer yet to flash, but will eventually. My 360 was flashed by a friend. However, I am having a serious problem. My 360 is having trouble reading all types of discs now. the drive functions but does not properly read. I disassembled my drive (which is, I think, a Ben Q.) and watch it function, the laser turns on, the disk spins a little, the armature that moves the laser bobs up and down rappidly then stops. disk rotation stops, then starts again… then it repeats a couple of times (the bobbing and spinning) then stops. At which point the console acts as if the drive is empty, even though there is a disk inside. I can play with the drive, opening and closing it and eventually the drive will read. But it takes a while before it does that. I am wondering what to do about this? Should I replace the optical hardware? or should I reflash/update firmware on the drive?
Hello,
I have an issue with my xbox, when I turn on the Xbox all the lights turn green, so I don’t think its a harware issue. However, I do not get an image, but do get sound. I opened the box unplugged everything then plugged everything back in, but still no picture?
